Oil, gas & petrochemical

MEXICOTrenchless rehabilitation of pipelines, drains and sumps in refineries and petrochemical complexes without stopping operations.

The operations team defines the priority and operational window. TUBEPOL brings the validated trenchless technology for hydrocarbon lines, produced water and industrial drains in the oil and gas sector.

In a refinery or petrochemical complex, a pipeline with structural failure is not just a technical issue — it is documented environmental exposure, risk of an incident with serious consequences and a report that reaches regulatory authorities within hours. Hydrocarbon lines, oily drains and sumps in the oil and gas sector age under extreme conditions: corrosive agents like H2S, produced water, variable temperatures and constant pressure. When failure appears, decisions are made under the weight of operational safety, environmental responsibility and the cost of downtime.

Trenchless rehabilitation allows intervention from inside the existing pipeline, without breaking plant floor, without shutting down operational units, and without the traditional civil-works maneuvers that compromise safety. TUBEPOL is the only CIPP liner manufacturer in Mexico and Latin America, with materials certified for service in hydrocarbon lines and environments with corrosive agents, and with proven execution in refineries and complexes of the Mexican oil and gas sector.

When a pipeline is rehabilitated without stopping operations, without generating an environmental event and within the agreed window, the recognition belongs to whoever authorized the intervention. Results are backed by ASTM F-1216 certification, auditable technical traceability and verifiable deliverables to present before PEMEX, ASEA, Profepa or any regulatory audit without pending documentation.

Key sector challenges

01

24/7 operations with no shutdown window

Operational units cannot tolerate unplanned shutdowns. Rehabilitation has to run within minimum windows or take advantage of planned outages, without extending into the next shift.

02

Severe chemical corrosion

Hydrocarbons, produced water and agents like H2S degrade conventional materials. Technology has to be certified for service in these environments from day one.

03

Environmental risk under regulatory scrutiny

ASEA, Profepa and parent-company audits require documented prevention. A failure detected and addressed is worth far more than an emergency addressed too late.

04

Technical specification with NRF validation
